We currently have studies open for enrollment at our office! They are:
- Adult and Adolescent Asthma
- Chronic Cough
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Grass Allergies
- Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Symptoms
If you do not have a diagnosis, but instead experience symptoms of these illnesses, you may also qualify. See below for more information on which symptoms may qualify for participation.
These symptoms can last year round or occur seasonally
- itchy, watery eyes
- nasal congestion/ stuffiness
- runny nose
- sneezing
- post-nasal drip
- sore throat
- cough
- cough
- wheezing
- shortness of breath
- chest tightness
- nighttime awakening with symptoms
- these symptoms can be worse with certain triggers such as exercise, cold air, allergies, colds, etc.
- cough
- mucus coughed up
- shortness of breath with exertion or at rest
- wheezing
- chest tightness
- you must have a history of smoking for our COPD trials
- Certain diagnoses such as Emphysema or Chronic Bronchitis fit into this category
- chronic, unexplained cough presenting within the past 1 year
- cough unresponsive to treatment
- no current smoking history within the past 1 year
- no current use of medications that may cause cough (ACE inhibitors)
- age 18 to 65 years old
- confirmed allergic reactions to grass pollen (a complimentary skin can be competed at our office)
- suffer from allergic symptoms during pollen season
- require anti-allergic medications (pills or nasal sprays) to treat symptoms
- female patients 18 years of age or older
- two of the following symptoms: urinary frequency, urinary urgency, pain or burning during urination
- suprapubic pain (pain in pelvic region)
- symptoms must between 24-96 hours from start of symptoms
